The Commission for Agriculture like any other Commission of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly, is under the general control of a Commissioner in accordance with the Rodrigues Regional Assembly Act 2022, Part III, Section 38.  In March 2022 there has been a change in the general governance of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly in the wake of the installation of the new Executive Council following the regional election which took place in February 2022. 

The Commission is under the administration and control of a Departmental Head who is responsible for the overall administration and general supervision of the different areas of responsibilities falling under the purview of the Commission in accordance with the Rodrigues Regional Assembly Act 2022, Fourth Schedule, Section 26.
