The Central Administration is responsible for the effective management of human and capital resources of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly while ensuring good governance and creation of modern, well-structured and organized public service.

Roles and Functions
- To provide efficient, effective and quality services for the wellbeing of each Rodriguan
- To facilitate the development of effective and efficient human resources in the Rodrigues Regional Assembly
- To support economic takeoff and thereby stimulate, promote and facilitate investment and creativity through institutional support in an environment conducive to research and innovation
- To provide unaltered and coherent advice to decision makers on matters related to State Land in Rodrigues and to satisfy members of the public by providing a good and efficient service
- To devise suitable legal and policy framework as regards to environmental related issues such as climate change, solid and hazardous waste management, disaster risk reduction, beach management to effectively act in response to emerging changes
