The Rodrigues Tourism Office (RTO) is responsible for the promotion of Rodigues as a Tourism destination and officiates as the body responsible for the marketing and promotional activities of the island.

Roles and Key Functions of RTO

1. Regularly attending tourism fairs in main tourism generating areas, example; Mauritius, Reunion, France, Germany, etc
2. Organization of road shows both in Mauritius and abroad
3. Organisation of educational and familiarization tours for journalists and tour operators
4. Placement of advert both in Mauritian and foreign magazines
5. Compilation of useful data in connection to tourism arrival and place of origin
6. Analyzing statistics and updating of website
7. Operating of Facebook and other related social media accounts
8. Issuing of brochures, posters, guides and maps which would be used both during tourism fairs and they are also distributed to tourists by the Tourism Information Officer
