On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the Commission for Family Welfare and Protection organised the first edition of the World Parents’ Day at Mourouk, an event dedicated to honouring the significant role of parents in the education and upbringing of children within families and society.
The day was marked by a series of engaging activities designed to celebrate and thank parents for their commitment and dedication. The event featured lively animations by local villagers from the southern region, which brought a festive atmosphere to the occasion. Families participated in various games, enjoyed a competitive football match, and children had the chance to play in a specially designated play area.
The Commissioner Christiane Agathe expressed her appreciation for the invaluable contributions of parents and highlighted its role in providing support to those in need.
